Frequently Asked questions:
How long are the services?
Services are typically 1 hour. We also serve coffee before (around 10:30 am) and after the service, allowing some time for community during those periods.
How do I recognize the church?
We are located in the Scuppernong bookstore in downtown Greensboro. You will see our sign (pictured on the right) in front of the bookstore door.
What do I do after I arrive?
You will most likely be welcomed by our greeter and other people in the community. They will welcome you and talk with you about general topics and would probably want to find out how you heard about the service. Of course, you may simply go inside and sit where you are most comfortable. Before the service will find a service program on one of the chairs.
We also have children’s program during service if you have small children.
Parking
Parking is generally available on Elm St., which is not very crowded on Sunday mornings. Washington St. also offers several spots to park. There is a large public parking lot (free on Sundays) on the opposite side of the Green Bean cafe.
